SEINYE (ELEPHANT CAMP)
Located in
Oaktwin Township of Bago Division. Yangon to Oaktwin
is 166 miles by car and Oaktwin to Sein-Ye camp is
20 miles by car along the Bago Y oma
crossing. It has 102 acres and was established in
1996. There are opportunities to study elephants
working on timber, view natural teak forests,
orchids and wildlife in this special forest
environment.

MYAING HAY WUN
(ELEPHANT CAMP)
Located in Taikkyi township of Yangon Division . It
has 10 acres and was established in 1986. Yangon to
Pa- lon, is 60 miles by car, Pa- lon to Kwan Ti
Myaung, is 8 miles, and Kwan Ti Myaung to Myaing Hay
Wun, forest road is 4.5 m iles.
There are opportunitius for studdy and nuration.Such
as hiking and mountaining in the forest , observing
the training of domestic elephants and elephant
rides arround the camp and studying the capture of
wild elephants.And Chameleon.
There are opportunities for study and recreation
such as;
- Studying fishes and aquatic creatures in La-
har-ma-nge fish pond and recreational fishing.
- Viewing the pyinkadoe plantation situated near
Sinte and listening to the sound of birds.
- Hiking and mountaineering in the forest.
- Observing the training of domestic elephants.
- Elephant rides around the camp and studying the
capture of wild elephants.

MONEYINGYI ( wetland wildlife sanctuary )
Located
in Bago and Waw townships of Bago Division, in an
area of 40 square miles. It was established in 1986.
It is located 70 miles from Yangon . There are more
than 20 species of aquatic grass and herb (Emergent
macropytes) including Kaing grass and water in the
sanctuary and Notsaba (Oxyza Officinalis) grow
particularly in the shallow area of the sanctuary.
Kaing grassland is the most suitable breeding ground
for water birds. There are 42 species of water birds
and 33 species of shore birds. It has been recorded
that 4,529 birds inhabit the MONEYINGYI wetland
wildlife sanctuary. Opportunities permit watching
resident and migratory water birds and studying the
wetland environment by boat.

NATIONAL BOTANICAL
GARDEN
National Kandawgyi Garden is Located in Pyin Oo Lwin
township of Mandalay Division . It has 344.81 ac res
and was established in 1915.It is 42 miles from
Mandalay by car. There are about 344 species of
forest trees and about 5,000 trees in total. The
garden includes 42 species of indigenous orchids, 25
species of roses and 6 species of cranium amoenum
(land lily). There are indigenous birds (resident
forest birds), reptiles, small mammal species and
insects too. There are opportunities for study and
research activities related to botany.

POPA MOUNTAIN PARK
It is located in Kyaukpadaung Township of
Mandalay Division. It has an area of 49.63 sq. miles
and was established in 1983. It is 412 miles from
Yangon . There are diverse forests types
in
POPA Mountain Park . There are Than – Dahat forest,
Low indaing forest, Upper mixed deciduous forest,
Hill evergreen forest, Pine forest and Hill
grassland. Wildlife includes; monkey, barking deer,
wild pig, jungle cat, wild dog and about 140
avifauna species inhabiting the POPA area. The dusky
leaf monkey is a rare animal and about 150 monkeys
live in the POPA mountain park. There are about 40
medicinal plants and some climbers are growing in
the park. Opportunities exist for observing dry zone
ecosystem, avifauna species and other wild animals.
One can study geological features and minerals of
extinct volcanoes that erupted 25,000 years ago.
Trekking on foot or horseback along the forest paths
ensures one enjoys the natural beauty. Golf is also
available.
